The newest addition to the brand’s compact SUV fleet, Volkswagen is setting the goal to make the Taos appeal to a younger demographic of potential customers. Sleek design choices across the cabin give the Taos a refined look that helps set it apart from the rest of the SUV field, all while maintaining that familiar Volkswagen feel. One of the new design styles that Volkswagen is giving the 2022 Taos is a dual-level dashboard. A special glasslike-décor encompasses the top of the dashboard and delivers a premium look for the budget-friendly compact SUV. Meanwhile, the bottom level has a pleasing soft-touch surface and extends beyond the dashboard itself, and surrounds the front passengers. Seating in the Taos will match up with this interior as well, with fabrics ranging from plush cloth to fine leather being available for upholstery. Two different color schemes are being designed for selection in the Taos, either a Gray/Black combination or a Black/French Roast combination.
