Bringing back the automatic eight-speed transmission as well, every bit of acceleration is seamless and robust. The available 276 horsepower V6 engine in upper-level trims of the Volkswagen Atlas also comes back for the 2023 model year. FWD remains the standard drivetrain for the Atlas, with 4Motion® AWD returning as an available drivetrain on select trims as well.  

Interior Differences 

For trim levels above the baseline SE version of the 2023 Volkswagen Atlas, drivers get to use a new feature as a standard implementation. The Volkswagen Digital Cockpit Pro introduces a 10.25-inch display that drivers can readily access while on the road. Any relevant information that the drivers want to learn about while navigating their surroundings can be easily obtained from the screen. Everything else that the interior of a 2023 Atlas provides passengers of the SUV is directly carried over from the 2022 version of the SUV. As such, the spacious cabin is well-equipped to suit any modern passenger's needs and preferences.  

Safety & Driver-Assistance Differences 

All driver-assistance features found within the 2023 Volkswagen Atlas are found in the 2022 iteration of the SUV.
