The 2022 version of the Volkswagen also carries over the available 3.6L V6 engine from its 2021 iteration for mid-Michigan drivers who want even greater overall performance. Reaching 276 on-demand horsepower, Atlas Cross Sport models equipped with this engine are perfect for the adventurous spirit. Both engines are once again accompanied by the automatic eight-speed transmission to keep everything smooth. Most models keep the standard FWD platform and have AWD available for equipment. However, the SEL trim is now standard AWD for the 2022 model year. The 2022 VW Atlas Cross Sport with FWD and the baseline engine gets an extra MPG on the highway as well. 

Exterior & Interior Features

The SE trim for the 2022 VW Atlas Cross Sport is a bolstered version of the 2021 iteration of the SUV. This includes a new eight-inch digital driver display that comes standard.
