Volkswagen has debuted the refreshed 2025 VW Taos…and it looks like an amazing choice for an exciting Michigan drive! Here are just some of the highlights of the 2025 model year Taos.
PERFORMANCE CHANGES
The Taos receives an update to the efficient 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder TSI® engine which raises power from 158 horsepower to 174 hp. Changes leading to this include a larger intercooler, new gasoline particulate filter and revised piston rings and fuel injectors. On 4Motion models, an eight-speed automatic transmission replaces the previous seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
EXTERIOR UPDATES
Stylish is a perfect word to describe the Taos. Expressive and sporty, the refreshed design includes a new grille with available light bar, a new bumper design and standard LED projector headlights. You can choose to really stand-out with one of three new paint color options – Bright Moss Green, Monterey Blue Pearl or Monument Gray. Plus, there are new wheel options too depending on the trim level; 17-inch aluminum alloys, 18-inch alloys or 19-inch.
CABIN ENHANCEMENTS
Much like the exterior, the cabin also offers a variety of new color options. You will find an 8-inch floating infotainment display is now standard on all models. Starting with the SE trim, there is a touch control for the Climatronic® HVAC system available. The cabin is even quieter thanks to new acoustic dampening enhancements.
