Help Bring Awareness to Foster Youth in December
Looking to help make a positive impact on your local community this holiday season? With the free movie night that Thelen Volkswagen is helping sponsor in Bay City, MI, you can directly help spread awareness of the current foster youth situation in our area. On December 11th, the State Theatre in downtown Bay City will be showing, “Instant Family”. This is a more lighthearted movie that details how foster care life can be for youth and families alike. All of this is to directly help bring light to the River Jordan Inc. foundation and its commitment to helping foster youth.
The River Jordan Inc. Dedication to Service
Helping the current and former foster youth of Bay City and nearby areas, River Jordan Inc. is an organization that caters to working with a group that desperately needs assistance. Their wonderful array of volunteers and staff undertake the challenging task of helping foster children and former foster youth improve the social skills they need to thrive in modern society. Given the sometimes challenging nature of the foster care system, these interactions can make all of the difference for foster children looking to become upstanding members of the community.
