He has been part of the family business since he was a teenager, worked for the company for 46 years, spending time in every department, except the Body Shop. My wonderful wife Kerry Thelen is a nurse practitioner. We have three beautiful daughters and two step sons: Kristina, who is a Speech Pathologist; Melissa, who serves as the General Manager of our Finance company; Hannah, who has been the Service Manager at our Honda store for 2 years and currently manages our warranty department at our Finance company; Drew, an engineer; and Eric, the purchasing manager for Falcon Industries. I am very proud of all their accomplishments. We love to spend time with our 4 grandchildren Grayson, Gavin, Rylan, and Payton. I have a degree from Northwood University in marketing and have sat on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Automobile Dealers Association, the Bay City YMCA, and Northwood University's board of International Marketing. In 2014 I received Northwood University's Dealer Educator of the year award. I enjoy spending time on my boat in the summer with the entire family.
